BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 9. Azerbaijani boxer Saidjamshid Jafarov (80 kg) competed in the semi-finals of the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games, which are taking place in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, Trend reports.
His opponent was Jordanian athlete Hussein Lashkhaish. Azerbaijani boxer won 5-0, advancing to the final.
Today, Aynur Mikayilova (57 kg), Fatima Mehdiyeva (65 kg), Muhammadali Gasimzade (60 kg) and Sarkhan Aliyev (70 kg) will also compete in the semi-finals.
