BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 9. The turnover through new-generation cash registers exceeded 1.7 billion manats ($990 million) in January 2024, which is 11.2 percent more than in the same period last year, Trend reports.
According to the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, more than 95,907 new-generation cash registers have been installed in trade and service facilities as of February 1, 2024.
Meanwhile, their installation is being carried out in stages, starting in the second quarter of 2019.
To note, the turnover through new-generation cash registers exceeded 19.5 billion manats ($11.4 billion) in 2022.
