BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 13. Tax revenues in Azerbaijan amounted to 100 percent in 2018, and in subsequent years they steadily exceeded the forecast figures (against the background of a decrease in the specific weight of overpayments in the total revenue), Trend reports.
According to the information, this was announced at the forum “Tax Service - 25: Sustainable Development and Effective Transformation" in Baku.
Furthermore, it was emphasized that the convergence of the tax revenue performance indicator with the forecast indicator of last year occurred against the background of revision of the forecast for 2024 in June and its increase by 1.4 billion manat ($823 million), including 800 million manat ($470.5 million) for the non-oil and gas sector.
To note, the forum is attended by Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, Head of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy Orkhan Nazarli, Chairman of the State Customs Committee Shahin Bagirov, Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsperson) of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sabina Aliyeva, representatives of state structures, international audit companies.
