ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 8. As of the conclusion of May 2025, Kazakhstan has experienced a consistent upward trajectory in livestock population metrics and the aggregate output of gross livestock production, said the Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Aidarbek Saparov, at a government meeting, Trend reports.
Based on the data metrics, the livestock demographic has
experienced an uptick in population density for bovines (23.4
percent), small ruminants (7.8 percent), equines (12.2 percent),
camelids (8.5 percent), and avian species (2.2 percent).
The aggregate output of livestock production surpassed 1.2 billion
tenge (roughly $2.28 million), reflecting a 4.2 percent uptick. The
data indicates a notable uptick in the output metrics for meat,
reflecting a 3 percent escalation, alongside a significant 7.5
percent augmentation in milk production, and a marginal 0.3 percent
rise in egg yield.
