Korpedzhe Gas Production Department (part of the Nebitgazchykarysh oil and gas complex), working within the Turkmennebit State Concern produced over 2.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas following the results of 11M2021, Trend reports via Turkmenistan’s Oil and Gas Complex online newspaper.
Korpedzhe exceeded the initial production plan by 65 percent.
Korpedzhe accounts for 2/3 of the total volume of natural gas produced by Turkmennebit during this period. The department is in charge of the production, preparation and delivery of gas production from the Korpeje, Chekichli, and Altyguyi gas fields.
Currently, more than 40 wells are being developed at the Korpedzhe field, 26 wells at the Chekishler field, and 5 wells at the Altyguyi field. Repairs carried out at 11 wells over the past period contributed to an increase in natural gas production.
Turkmennebit is carrying out a set of measures to increase productivity of the exploitation of oil and gas fields, search and exploration of new promising hydrocarbon deposits, their development and increase the volume of extracted raw materials.
Currently, digital projects are being implemented aimed at increasing the efficiency of all links in oil production and refining.
