Russia police officers have arrested an immigrant from Kyrgyzstan suspect in mass riots broke out in the south of the republic, news agency Fergana.ru informs.

Russia police officers have arrested an immigrant from Kyrgyzstan suspect in mass riots broke out in the south of the republic, news agency Fergana.ru informs, news agency "24.kg" reported.

According to the news agency, prosecutor's office of Chelyabinsk in cooperation with Sovetskiy region prosecutor's office conducted inspection in respect of the native of Kyrgyzstan wanted on suspicion of murder during mass riots in the south of the country in June, 2010.

The investigation does not reveal the name and nationality of the man arrested, born in 1980 that has been wanted internationally from August, 2010. He was suspected in murder motivated by ethnic hatred and embezzlement. The investigative authorities of Kyrgyzstan charged the young man in murder of a man and robbery during the riots, while he was in the Osh regional hospital

The prosecution initiated a criminal case on the given fact. The court has put the accused in pre-trial detention center on the basis of the public prosecutor's order.

At the moment, Chelyabinsk regional prosecutor's office sent the material of the investigation to the General Prosecutor's office of Russian Federation for the resolution of the issue on extradition of the man and in order to bring him to criminal liability for crimes committed on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
