BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 11. Baku and Yerevan will exchange information on the fate of missing persons, said the text of the peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan, released today by the Azerbaijani MFA, Trend reports.
"The Parties undertake to examine cases of missing persons and enforced disappearances that occurred during the armed conflict in which they were involved, including by exchanging all available information on such persons, either directly or in cooperation with relevant international organizations, as necessary. The parties recognize the importance of establishing the fate of these persons, including the search for and, where necessary, the return of their remains, as well as ensuring justice for these persons through proper investigation — as a means of reconciliation and confidence-building. The relevant procedures in this regard will be agreed upon and approved in a separate agreement," the text of the peace agreement states.
