Baku and Yerevan reject international legal claims against each other

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 11. Baku and Yerevan have renounced their international legal claims against each other, said the text of the peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan, released today by the Azerbaijani MFA, Trend reports.

"Without prejudice to Article XIV, the Parties undertake, within one month of the date of entry into force of this Agreement, to withdraw, remove, or otherwise settle all intergovernmental claims, complaints, protests, objections, legal actions, and disputes related to issues that existed between the Parties prior to the signing of this Agreement in all legal instances, as well as not to initiate such claims, complaints, protests, objections, and legal actions, and not to participate in any way in such actions initiated by third parties against the other Party. The Parties will not undertake, encourage, or participate in any way in hostile actions against each other that are contrary to this Agreement in the diplomatic, information, and other spheres, and will hold regular consultations on this issue," the text of the peace agreement states.
