Azerbaijani Novruz Babayev injured during Nevsky Express train derailment is in the Railway hospital of Saint Petersburg now, the Azerbaijani Consulate General in St. Petersburg told Trend .
Babayev's condition is satisfactory, the railway hospital said.
The condition of Azerbaijani Novruz Babayev injured in Nevsky Express train derailment is moderate and he feels well, the hospital in Bologovsk district of Tver province where he was placed told Trend earlier.
"Babayev's diagnosis includes closed craniocerebral injury, contusion of the right ankle, right elbow, abrasions on the face and extremities. But he feels fine, the hospital said.
According to the source, Babaev is the only Azerbaijani, who was taken to the hospital.
The information that there were two injured Azerbaijanis besides Babayev has not been confirmed yet.
"It is impossible to say that there are Azerbaijanis among injured people. Names and patronymic names were indicated by initial letters. It is difficult to determine their nationality only by surnames," the Azerbaijani Consulate General in St. Petersburg press-service told Trend .
Earlier the Azerbaijani Consulate General in St. Petersburg said that there was an Azerbaijani among the injured.
Perhaps, these people were in the train. But according to the source, they are not exist either in the list of dead or injured.
"The number of people died as a result of Nevsky Express train derailment increased up to 30. Other 60 injured people have been taken to the hospitals," the Russian Prosecution General representative Marina Gridneva told RIA Novosti today.
The exact number of people died as a result of the accident is being specified.
The Nevsky Express travelling from Moscow to St. Petersburg derailed in Novgorod yesterday.
The criminal case was filed on the articles 205 (terror act) and 222 (illegal turnover of explosives) of the Russian Criminal Code.
