Azerbaijani Novruz Babayev injured during Nevsky Express train crash feels normal, the Azerbaijani Consulate General in St. Petersburg told Trend .
"We visited Novruz Babayev. He feels fine. He is already walking. His arm is slightly swollen and leg is bandaged", said in the Consulate.
As Trend was told in the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Saint Petersburg, the injured will be discharged from hospital approximately in one week.
According to information, the Consul General Gudsy Osmanov will visit the hospital on Monday.
According to the information from Railway Hospital of St. Petersburg, Babayev's diagnosis includes closed craniocerebral injury, contusion of the right ankle, right elbow, abrasions on the face and extremities.
The citizen of Russia Novruz Babayev is the only Azerbaijani injured in Nevsky Express train crash.
Twenty-five people were killed, 26 missing after the crash of train Moscow-St Petersburg on 27 November, said the head of Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia Sergey Shoygu on Sunday.
The Nevsky Express travelling from Moscow to St. Petersburg derailed in Novgorod on Friday.
The criminal case was filed on the articles 205 (terror act) and 222 (illegal turnover of explosives) of the Russian Criminal Code.
