BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, October 4. Significant negotiations took place between Kyrgyzstan's President Sadyr Zhaparov and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni during Zhaparov's visit to Italy, resulting in the signing of an agreement on joint production of audiovisual products, Trend reports via the press service of the president.
Giorgia Meloni emphasized the importance of Zhaparov's visit, stating Italy's readiness to strengthen ties with Kyrgyzstan across various spheres.
In response, the president highlighted that Kyrgyzstan highly values its relationship with Italy, viewing it as a promising partner, particularly regarding sustainable development and attracting foreign investment.
In addition to the media agreement, the Ministries of Justice of both countries reached several other important agreements, such as those on extradition and the transfer of convicted individuals.
The final discussions also covered the prospects for cooperation in energy, transportation, logistics, and tourism.
