BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 20. The manufacturing value of petroleum products in Baku decreased to 4.7 billion manat ($2.7 billion) last year.
Data obtained by Trend from the Baku City Statistical Department shows that this figure went down by 810 million manat ($476.47 million) or 14.6 percent compared to 2023 (5.5 billion manat or $3.2 billion).
To note, the total manufacturing value of petroleum products in Azerbaijan decreased by 11 percent in 2024 compared to the previous year. Manufacturing of lubricants from petroleum products increased by 16.2 percent, white oil decreased by 4.6 percent, asphalt by 4.6 percent, automobile gasoline by 16.2 percent, and petroleum coke by 23.5 percent.
