ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 18. Kazakhstan's First Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar met with Csaba Lejko, president of John Deere CIS and Central Asia, on April 18 and discussed localization programs, service development, job creation, engineer training, and Kazakhstan's potential as a logistical hub for equipment and spare parts supplies to CIS countries, Trend reports
"The project is being implemented at the localization center in Kostanay, where the creation of 350 new skilled jobs in both the production and service sectors is planned. The investment is expected to total around 25 billion tenge. Eurasia Group, the official distributor of John Deere in Kazakhstan, plans to build three service centers, incorporating cutting-edge technologies like precision farming, GPS navigation, and automated management systems for farms and service centers," the information notes.
In the course of the meeting, Roman Sklyar highlighted that the launch of this new production facility represents a significant step in the development of Kazakhstan's domestic machinery industry and the introduction of advanced technologies into the country's agricultural sector.
