BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 8. About $12.7 million worth of foreign investment licenses have been approved during the first three months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through June 21, 2025) in Hamadan province, located in western Iran, Director General of the General Department of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance of Iran for Hamadan Province Hassan Peymani told reporters, Trend reports.
According to him, under the approved licenses, work will be carried out in the production of spare parts for solar panels, fruit processing industry, steelmaking, ceramics, various industrial seals and the automotive sector within the framework of six projects.
Peymani said that 190 people will be provided with jobs with the investment of the mentioned amount of foreign investment. At the same time, an important step will be taken towards strengthening the infrastructure in the industrial and agricultural sectors in the province.
The official stated that within the framework of the projects, investors from China, Türkiye and the UAE will make investments in the Hamadan, Asadabad, Tuysarkan and Kabudar Ahang counties.
The Iranian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance has announced that in total, 177 projects worth $8.5 billion in foreign investment were approved in Iran during the first two months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through May 20, 2025).
