ASTANA, Kazakhstan, October 14. Kazakhstan’s oil and gas sector continues to show positive growth, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov said, calling on the Ministry of Energy to maintain close oversight of key projects, Trend reports.

“In the oil sector, we are observing positive dynamics. I instruct the Ministry of Energy to maintain the current pace and work with operators to ensure stable operations at the Tengiz, Kashagan, and Karachaganak fields,” Bektenov stated.

He also highlighted growth in gas production, emphasizing the need for direct ministerial supervision of ongoing projects to construct three gas processing plants at the Karachaganak and Kashagan fields.

Bektenov stressed that close monitoring and coordinated efforts with operators are essential to sustain production momentum and ensure the timely completion of strategic energy infrastructure projects.
