ASTANA, Kazakhstan, November 21. Kazakhstan and Armenia exchanged a series of intergovernmental and interagency agreements aimed at strengthening bilateral ties across diplomacy, trade, technology, culture, and education, the Kazakh presidential office said, Trend reports.

The agreements were exchanged in the presence of Kazakh President and Armenian Prime Minister, covering areas from diplomatic security to economic cooperation.

Key accords included a pact on the handling and protection of classified information, an agreement on mutual provision of land for diplomatic missions, and a roadmap for trade and economic cooperation for 2026-2030.

Other agreements focused on sectoral cooperation, such as memorandums between Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Industry and Construction and Armenia’s Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, and between Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization and Armenia’s Ministry of High-Tech Industry.

Bilateral cooperation in agriculture, healthcare, foreign affairs, and culture was also addressed through memorandums and action plans for 2026-2027.

Notably, the two countries established the Kazakhstan-Armenia Business Council and signed pacts between national cultural institutions, including libraries, museums, and film centers.

Additional agreements covered peaceful use of nuclear energy, science and higher education collaboration, and the exchange of expertise in public administration through cooperation between Kazakhstan’s Academy of Public Administration and Armenia’s Diplomatic School.
