Today Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev examined a cold store for keeping fruits and vegetables, built in Gabala, AzerTaj state news agency said.

The President was informed that the total area of warehouses, built in 2008-2009, is 7,800 square meters.

It is possible to store 5,000 tons of fruits and vegetables in the warehouses, located in an area of 3 hectares.

Products in a warehouse equipped with equipment made in Italy, are kept by a special technology.

The cooling system is controlled by a controller's office. A special wet process is carried out for products located in warehouses not to spoil.

Currently, about 50 people are provided with jobs.

President Ilham Aliyev visited the workshop sorting fruits. It was noted that the equipment installed here allows to sort fruits by color and size. The President put the workshop in operation.

President Ilham Aliyev visited the exhibition of products manufactured at different factories of "Gilan-Holdinq".

It was noted that products manufactured at these factories include 8 varieties of cognac, 14 varieties of wines, 84 varieties of juices. They are well known outside the country.
