Last Iranian year, 5,000 tons of dates have been exported from Iran’s southern Kerman province to different countries, Director General of Standardization Organization of Kerman province Ali Beygzadeh said.
Meanwhile, 1,100 production facilities operate in the province, Beygzadeh added, Trend reports referring to IRNA.
Thus, 519 production facilities are subject to compulsory standards, he said.
Beygzadeh stressed that the production facilities and the exported products are planned to be checked.
He added that the activity of the companies without licenses will be suspended.
One million inhabitants live in southern part of the province.
