Iran’s Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade Reza Rahmani has indicated that preserving the domestic production is a priority of his ministry.
Speaking at a press conference in the Kerman Province, the official stated: “The major problems are the investments, working capital and liquidity that should be resolved,” Trend reports citing ISNA.
“It is not fair that production units with all the capacities suspend their work due to need for working capital,” he added.
Referring to the needs of production units in Kerman, he said, “Providing raw materials and foreign currency at official rates, bank loans and taxes are the main issues discussed by craftsmen and industrialists of the Kerman Province.”
