Prices for the exported goods of Kazakhstan in November 2018 has increased by 23.4 percent, and by 8 percent for the imported goods since the beginning of the year, Trend reports referring to the Kazakh media.
According to the Statistics Committee of the National Economy Ministry, since the beginning of 2018, export prices have increased for oil (32.2 percent), natural gas (25.3 percent), manganese ore (23.1 percent), iron ore (19.7 percent), copper (17.1 percent), ferroalloys (14.9 percent), rolled ferrous metals (12.6 percent) and coal (8.6 percent), but decreased for lead (12.4 percent) and zinc (7.6 percent).
Also growth of export prices was observed for barley (19.2 percent), wheat (16.8 percent) and cotton (9.3 percent), and decline – for wool (4.2 percent).
As for the imported products, fruits and nuts rose in price by 59.4 percent, poultry meat by 29.2 percent, fish by 15 percent, sugar by 13.4 percent, vegetables by 11 percent, tea by 10.1 percent, margarine by 4.2 percent, pharmaceuticals by 3.4 percent, but cocoa fell in price by 1.6 percent.
The prices for imported shoes were higher by 27.9 percent, building materials by 19.4 percent, plastic by 13.9 percent, textiles by 13.1 percent, and paper by 13 percent.
