BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 29. The digital landscape of Azerbaijan is painted with the vibrant hues of Google, which stands as the towering giant among search engines. In the month of October 2024, it claimed a remarkable 84.27 percent of the local market, casting a long shadow over its competitors.
Data obtained by Trend from the Global Stats statistical center shows that Google's share in the Azerbaijani market decreased by 3.35 percentage points compared to the previous month, while Yandex's position increased by 3.26 percentage points (to 13.87 percent).
The share of the Bing search engine decreased by 0.07 percentage points (to one percent), while the Yahoo search engine's proportion increased by 0.05 percentage points (to 0.46 percent).
In the vast ocean of digital exploration, other search engines drifted along, capturing a mere 0.4 percent of the market's shimmering waves.
