BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 6. Google continues to hold the reins as the go-to search engine for users in Azerbaijan, boasting a hefty market share of 89.73 percent as of December 2024, Trend reports via the Global Stats statistical center.
According to Global Stats, Google's share in the Azerbaijani market decreased by 0.26 percentage points compared to the previous month, while Bing's share increased by 0.13 percentage points (to 3.98 percent).
The share of the Yandex search engine increased by 0.13 percentage points (to 2.55 percent), while the Yahoo search engine's share increased by 0.05 percentage points (to 1.29 percent).
To note, the residual segment of the market, comprising 2.45 percent, was attributed to alternative search engine platforms.
