( AFP ) - The rare skeleton of a triceratops dinosaur failed to find a buyer Wednesday when the 490,000-euro (780,000-dollar) final bid at Christie's auction house in Paris fell short of the reserve price.
The massive three-horned dinosaur specimen, which roamed the Earth some 65 million years ago, was removed from the sale.
It was only the second dinosaur fossil of this size ever to go under the hammer.
