Last night, heavy rains caused mudflows and floods in the Iranian village Bagmach, near the town Chinaran in the province of Mashhad. Heavy rains killed four people, according to preliminary data published by the Iranian MEHR news agency.
The mudflows reached the region at about 9:30 p.m. local time on Aug. 25. At present, the volume of damage caused by the mudflows is being estimated.
There is no detailed information about those killed and injured.
