Georgian extraparliamentary opposition is mobilizing its supporters throughout Georgia, an opposition representative Irakliy Melashvili said at today's meeting in front of the Parliament of Georgia.
"We have established resistance committees to register our supporters. We will convince the President that the Georgian population does not want see him as the head of the government, he said.
Melashvili also reported that people will flock from all over Georgia to Tbilisi on April 21. "We will show that Georgia does not want to have Saakashvili as the head of the government," he added.
Demonstrations demanding President's resignation are taking place in front of the Georgian Parliament, President's residence in Avlabar and Public television.
