The Prosecutor's Office and the Baku City Central Police Office issued a joint statement about a serious crime committed in Baku on Aug. 21.
On Aug. 21, at approximately 11:00 am, 52-year old Alasgar Alakbarov killed mercilessly his spouse 30-year old Jala Alakbarova and his children 8-year old Khatima Alakbarova and one-year old Tapdig Alakbarov in the yard of his private house in the Nariman Aliyev Str, of the Buzovna settlement in the Azizbayov District of Baku.
According to preliminary data, Alakbarov who committed the murder motivated by jealousy voluntarily surrendered to the Narimanov District Police Office at about 16:00, and admitted the murder.
A lawsuit was filed on Alakbarov in accordance with the Article 120.2.4 (willful homicide, committed with particular cruelty or dangerous way), 120.2.7 (willful homicide of two or more persons) and 120.2.9 (willful homicide of a person being in helpless state).
