The trial began in Azerbaijan of a group of soldiers accused of torturing their peers.
The Military Heinous Crimes Court held a preparatory hearing on the criminal cases of soldiers Parviz Mehdiyev, Vagif Kazimov, Rafael Kerimov and Rashad Zeynalov.
The judicial review is scheduled for May 6.
The individuals are accused of abusing their peers.
They are charged under Article 331.3 (Insult, Causing Injuries or Torturing Subordinates) of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code.
