BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 20. A new Deputy Head of the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been appointed, Trend reports.
A corresponding order was signed in this regard, according to which Lieutenant General Rasul Tagiyev was appointed Deputy Head of the State Security Service of Azerbaijan for work with personnel.
Rasul Tagiyev is a Lieutenant General of the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, participant of the Second Karabakh War, knight of the Order of Victory (2020), full knight of the Order for Service to the Fatherland.
During the Patriotic War in 2020, Colonel Rasul Tagiyev took part in combat operations on the territory of the Jabrayil and Zangilan districts.
