Two female dwellers of Salyan area, 15 and 17, are checked out after H5N1 treatment. Samaya Mamedova, head of press service, Ministry of Health, told Trend that they had been delivered to Baku March 4 and hospitalized in Child Clinical Hospital #2.
Ms Mamedova said one of the two girls was proved to be infected with bird flu by reference lab in London. However, the study carried out in PCR lab in Baku for another girl proved to have negative result. Despite all that, her tests have been sent to the lab in London for retesting.
