BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 13. The export of Turkish steel products to Kyrgyzstan decreased by 78.2 percent (up to $2.4 million) from January through June 2023 compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.
According to the Turkish Ministry of Trade, Türkiye reduced exports of steel products to Kyrgyzstan by 92.6 percent to $209.7 million in June compared to the same month in 2022.
Türkiye exported steel products worth $1.3 million in June 2023, which is 42.1 percent less in comparison with June 2022.
The export of Turkish steel products decreased by 39.2 percent and amounted to $7.2 billion from January through June 2023 compared to the same period last year.
Meanwhile, Türkiye exported steel products worth $16.4 billion over the past 12 months (from June 2022 through June 2023).
