BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 17. A total of 1.3 billion manat ($764 million) worth of products have been produced in the sphere of metallurgical industry and production of finished metal products in Azerbaijan in 2024, Trend reports via Azerbaijan's State Statistics Committee.
According to the information, 38.9 percent growth was observed in the production of finished metal products and a 27.1 percent rise in the production of metallurgical industry products.
To note, production of copper wire in the metallurgical industry increased by 5.5 times, aluminum products - by 72.1 percent, fittings - by 28.7 percent, other metal products - by 20.4 percent, stranded wires without insulation, cables, and similar products - by 17.9 percent in 2024.
