BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 3. Azerbaijan produced 3,920 tons of metal structures from January through February 2025, marking a notable increase.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan indicates that this figure represents an impressive rise of 948 tons, or 31.9 percent, compared to the same period in 2024 (2,972 tons).
Meanwhile, the country’s stock of finished products stood at over 10,871 tons as of March 1, 2025.
The metallurgical industry and the production of finished metal
products saw a combined output of 190.9 million manat ($112.2
million) from January through February 2025. Nonetheless,
juxtaposed with the corresponding timeframe in 2024, there was a
marginal contraction in the output of metallurgical commodities by
approximately 5.9 percent, alongside a reduction in the fabrication
of finished metal goods by roughly 9.0 percent.
Moreover, the output metrics for aluminum commodities within the
metallurgical domain experienced a contraction of 13.1 percent
during the specified reporting interval, whereas the manufacturing
of uninsulated multi-wire conductors, cabling systems, and
analogous products encountered a downturn of 11.2 percent within
the identical temporal framework.
