The 38th session of the CIS Economic Council will feature the cooperation in the area of transport and discuss measures to strengthen food security, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Moscow representative office of the CIS Executive Committee.
The session will consider the project on cooperation priorities in the transport area for the period till 2020. The participants of the session will also work on joint measures to strengthen food security of the CIS member states which was initiated by Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia.
More than 15 points have been put on the agenda of the session. In particular, the participants of the session are to work on the interstate task draft programme of the CIS innovation cooperation for the period till 2020 and consider alterations to the list of terms, production and technological activities which condition the country of origin of goods. The participants of the session will also discuss the implementation of the concept of interregional and frontier cooperation.
