UzSE: 1.2 million shares sold for 379.2 million soums on 8 Aug

Uzbekistan Stock Exchange (UzSE) on 8 August registered three transactions on the purchase-and-sale of shares of one insurance company and two commercial banks. Over 1.2 million shares were purchased for 379.2 million soums as a result, UzReport.com reported..

This day the exchange trades were registered in the IPO segment, as well as secondary market. For the third consecutive day in August, the IPO segment has been registering deals on the purchase of Agrobank's shares. Thus, 43,000 shares of the bank were sold for 49.4 million soums on 8 August.

It should be noted that some 991,700 shares of Agrobank open joint-stock commercial bank have been sold at the nominal cost of 1,150 soums per item at UzSE since the beginning of August.

Moreover, 1.37 million unsold shares of Agrobank worth a total of 1.58 billion soums are still in the list of securities announced for sale in the section of UzSE corporate securities.

UzSE secondary market saw the circulation of shares emitted by Kapital Sugurta open joint-stock insurance company and Samarkand open joint-stock commercial bank in the amount of 1.16 million and 3,300 items respectively.

The shares of Kapital Sugurta insurance company were purchased at 142 soums per item, while the shares of Samarkand bank were sold at the nominal price of 50,000 soums per item.
