The average rate on bank lending to the economy of Azerbaijan in national currency amounted to 16.09 percent on April 1 compared to 16.17 percent on March 1, 2012, and to 16.41 percent on April 1, 2011, said in a statistical report of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) on Wednesday.
The average rate on bank lending in foreign currency was 16.16 percent compared to 16.4 percent and 16.37 percent respectively.
The average rate on bank loans to legal entity in national currency amounted to 14.46 percent in February compared to 14.51 percent on March 1, 2012 and 14.4 percent on April 1, 2011. The average rate on bank loans to corporate customers in foreign currency was 13.69 percent compared to 13.72 percent and 13.29 percent respectively.
The average rate on bank lending to an individual in national currency amounted to 18.57 percent on April 1 compared to 18.78 percent on March 1, 2012 and 19.75 percent on April 1, 2011. The average rate on bank credit for an individual client in freely convertible currency amounted to 22.07 percent compared to 23.01 percent and 23.42 percent respectively.
