Kazakhstan, ADB to prepare new Country Partnership Strategy

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 30. Kazakhstan and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) will prepare a new Country Partnership Strategy for 2023-2027, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan.

This issue was discussed during the meeting between Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan Alibek Kuantirov and ADB Director General for Central and West Asia Eugene Zhukov.

The sides discussed several issues of interaction, including the plans to develop a new Country Partnership Strategy, at the meeting.

The minister stressed that ADB is an important and strategic partner for the Republic of Kazakhstan.

“During the cooperation, Kazakhstan was greatly supported by ADB both in terms of finance and knowledge, to introduce new technologies through innovative projects,” Kuantirov said.

In turn, Zhukov confirmed ADB’s readiness to develop further cooperation with Kazakhstan.
