The Ukrainian ambassador to Ankara was called to Turkey's Energy and Natural Resources Ministry after Russia's decision to suspend natural gas supplies to the country due to the gas crisis with Ukraine, the Cihan Turkish news agency reported.

Ukrainian Ambassador Sergei Korsunsky said his country bears no responsibility for gas supplies being suspended to Turkey.

"Talks between Russia and Ukraine continue and gas transit via Ukraine will be restored within days," the diplomat said.
