TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, July 31. Following the visit of the representatives of the Uzbek Ministry of Transport and Toshshahartransxizmat JSC transportation company to China, a number of agreements and memoranda were signed, Trend reports.
The visit, according to the ministry, was planned to learn about the implementation of cutting-edge digital technologies in the sector of public transportation and the experience of high-quality rolling stock maintenance.
The delegation visited well-known Chinese businesses on its itinerary, including Yutong Bus Co., Ltd., King Long, Magnetic North, and Hikvision, where they learned important lessons about effective fleet maintenance and the application of cutting-edge digital innovations in the field of public transportation.
In specifically, a tripartite memorandum with Yutong Bus Co., Ltd. was signed, and it included an agreement between the parties to carry out joint projects in the area of unmanned autonomous vehicles.
Furthermore, as a result of negotiations with representatives of Hikvision, a bilateral memorandum was signed with Toshshahartransxizmat JSC on the provision of integrated security solutions based on innovative video surveillance systems and artificial intelligence technologies.
A deal was also signed to work together on the deployment of an intelligent transportation system with the Magnetic North company. In specifically, a bilateral pact on the provision of integrated solutions for the Republic of Uzbekistan's intelligent transportation, including development, design, installation, commissioning, training, maintenance, and improvement, was inked with the company.
