Iran's navy has rescued a Panamanian carrier heading to Singapore from sea pirates, the Iranian Students' News Agency (ISNA) reports.
The cruiser Heilan, and its 25 member crew were attacked by several pirate boats in the Sea of Oman. The carrier sent out a distress call and Iran's navy responded. The pirates fled after seeing Iran's ship.
