Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said that the Iranian nation by relying on teachings of later founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, managed to provide the world with a successful model, IRNA reported.
The Supreme Leader made the remarks to a large crowd of people gathered at the mausoleum of late Imam Khomeini in southern Tehran on Sunday.
'The Iranian nation will continue to step in the same path to reach the peaks of advancement. It goes without saying that the future will surely be better for the Muslim nations, including the Iranian nation,' Ayatollah Khamenei added.
He pointed out that the Iranian nation managed to see through their own eyes the realization of many of the divine offerings such as victory of the oppressed people over tyrants.
'The Iranian nation overcame all political, military, security and economic challenges that were created with the aim of destroying the Islamic system,' the Supreme Leader added.
