President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev today has received the United States Deputy Secretary of State Bill Burns.
They stressed successful development of Azerbaijan-US bilateral ties in various fields, expressing assurance the relationship would further expand.
The sides also discussed resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, joint cooperation on global projects and initiatives in the field of energy and noted valuable contribution of Azerbaijani troops to peacekeeping operations in Afghanistan.
