Azerbaijani Azerqarant Sıgorta insurance company’s assets increase

Azerbaijani Azerqarant Sıgorta insurance company's assets stood at 7.074 million manats in 2013 versus 6.72 million manats in early 2013, an increase of 5.27 percent, according to the company's balance sheet.

The company's financial statement is audited by independent auditor E. Farajov.

Azerqarant Sıgorta's long term assets amounted to 1.06 million manats by late 2013, while short term assets were 6.01 million manats.

Some 4.67 million manats were accumulated in 2013 in cash and cash equivalents, as well as 3.31 million manats were accumulated in the deposit accounts and 0.87 million manats in the settlement account.

Azerqarant Sıgorta's paid up authorised capital in 2013 stood at 5.61 million manats, the same as in 2012.

The company ended 2013 with a net profit of 0.5 million manats.

The total capital of the Azerqarant Sıgorta in late 2013 was 6.35 million manats, an increase of six percent compared to 2012.

The company's total liabilities stood at 0.72 million manats, decreasing by almost one percent.

The company's revenues last year totalled 1.52 million manats and expenses stood at 0.89 million manats.

Azerqarant has been in the Azerbaijani insurance market since 1993.

The official exchange rate on March 31 is 0.7843 AZN/USD.
