Prices on agricultural goods increased by 15.9 percent in Kazakhstan as of the end of 2019, Trend reports with reference to the Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.
In turn, goods of plant growing increased in price by 19.1 percent, whereas goods of animal husbandry increased by 7.1 percent.
Over the course of last year price of wheat increased by 34.9 percent, rice by 30.6 percent, corn by 14.5 percent, barley by 13.8 percent, rye by 8.7 percent, oats by 8.2 percent, millet by 2.9 percent, buckwheat y 2.5 percent.
Prices of cabbage and onions increased by 5.9 percent, beetroot by 4.9 percent, potatoes by 2.5 percent, carrots by 1.6 percent.
Prices of dried peas increased by 20.7 percent, of sunflower seeds by 14.4 percent, of soya beans by 7.4 percent, of forage crops by 6.9 percent. In turn, prices of cotton decreased by 22.6 percent, of dried lentils by 5.9 percent.
Poultry meat decreased in price by 6.1 percent, whereas cattle meat increase in price by 9.5 percent, horse meat by 9 percent, sheep meat by 7.1 percent, pork by 5 percent.
Eggs prices increased by 17.6 percent, raw milk by 8.7 percent, honey by 1.1 percent.
