Iran 's oil export to China has increased by 46 percent during the first seven months of 2011, IRNA reported quoting China's customs data.
China imported 16.2 million tons of oil from Iran while the statistics indicate Iran provided 12 to 14 percent of China's oil demand.
Iran 's oil export to China grew by 35 percent to 2.74 million tons in July, while LNG exports to China rose 32 percent to 420,000 tons.
Iran ranks third major oil supplier to China after Saudi Arabia and Angola.
Iran has OPEC's second-highest oil output, and ranks second in the world in terms of natural gas reserves after Russia.
