Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR shipped a batch of fuel oil to Ukraine in October 2016, a source in the company told Trend.
“A batch of 3,000 tons of fuel oil was supplied to Ukraine by SOCAR Energy Ukraine Trading House,” said the source. “Some 4,200 tons of fuel oil were shipped in September 2016”
In January-October 2016, SOCAR exported 945,420 tons of oil products compared to 983,240 tons exported for the ten months of 2015.
SOCAR is the only manufacturer of oil products in Azerbaijan on the basis of the Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery, where the modernization of the existing facilities is currently underway.
