ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 27. The Italian Eni's production of oil and natural gas in Kazakhstan amounted to 160 kboe/d (kilo barrel of oil equivalent per day) from January through June 2024, Trend reports.
According to Eni production results, in the same period in 2023, this figure was 164 kboe/d.
At the same time, oil and gas production in Kazakhstan in the second quarter of 2024 amounted to 156 kboe/d, which is 3.7 percent less than the same period in 2023 (162 kboe/d).
Meanwhile, in the second quarter of 2024, Eni's hydrocarbon production averaged 1.71 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d) and 1.73 million boe/d for the first half of 2024, representing a 6 percent increase compared to the second quarter of 2023 and a 5 percent increase compared to first half of 2023.
Furthermore, the volume of oil production in Kazakhstan amounted to 38.4 million tons from January through June, which is 2.1 percent less than in the first quarter of 2023 (39.2 million tons).
Moreover, the volume of gas production in Kazakhstan amounted to 30 billion cubic meters from January through June 2024.
