Ramin thermal power plant in Iran’s Khuzestan province produced over 8 million megawatt-hours of electricity during a ten-month period (from March 21, 2019 to January 20, 2020), the plant’s Executive Director Nasser Mohammadi said, Trend reports referring to the Iranian Energy Ministry’s website.
Mohammadi said that repair works were carried out in accordance with the schedule at six production units of the plant since the beginning of autumn.
The director added that the purpose of the repairs is to ensure the required electricity supply during peak consumption period in the summer.
Mohammadi said that the repairs have been completed recently at the 315-megawatt production units.
In total, Ramin thermal power plant has six production units.
