The police of Georgian capital are urgently evacuating employees of Maestro TV company.
On Tuesday, employees of the TV company told journalists that, the evacuation was announced after another call to the emergency service 112 for a bomb allegedly planted in the building of Maestro TV company.
At the moment, the police have cordoned off the building of the TV company. Sappers are waiting at the site. They will be looking for an explosive device.
Maestro TV company was the first aim of the telephone terrorists in Georgia.
Telephone terrorists have repeatedly reported bombs allegedly planted in Imedi and Rustavi- 2 TV companies. It was later found out that the culprit was a 10-year-old from Akhaltsikhe.
Also on Monday, the Georgian parliament and staff of ProCredit Bank in the city of Zugdidi were evacuated due to the same reason.
Increased incidents of telephone terrorism in Georgia forced the Ministry of Internal Affairs to present a new legislative initiative, under which the parents of minor children who have made false calls about bomb threats will be subjected to a fine.
On Tuesday, the Georgian parliament began considering the bill and intends to approve it in three readings, on an expedited basis.
