BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 21. Georgia’s current account deficit is predicted at 11.4 percent ($2.38 billion), Trend reports via World Economic Outlook from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
According to the report, the same index in 2023 will be at 7.5 percent ($1.74 billion), 6.3 percent ($1.6 billion) - in 2024, 5.8 percent ($1.63 billion) - in 2025, 5.7 percent ($1.74 billion) - in 2026, and 5.6 percent ($1.89 billion) - in 2027.
Earlier, the IMF noted that Georgia’s inflation rate in 2022 is predicted at 9.9 percent, while the baseline outlook envisages Georgia’s GDP growth in 2022 at 3.2 percent, and the nominal GDP will amount to $20.89 billion.
