Three men were killed and 14 other people were injured in a stabbing rampage in Tokyo Sunday, police reported.
Tomihiro Kato, 25, went out on a stabbing spree Sunday afternoon in Tokyo's Akihabara district, before being arrested by police, the dpa reported.
A total of 17 people, 14 men and three women, were taken to a nearby hospital, according to the National Police Agency.
Three males aged 19, 47 and 74 died at the hospital.
Kato first hit pedestrians with a truck and then began stabbing people with a knife in broad daylight on an Akihabara street.
